Collecting 101 x Indigenous Women in World Politics Course: Public Presentations

Are you interested in seeing more representation of Indigenous and South American artists at the Mead? Do you want to hear from students working to make it happen? Students in Professor Manuela Picq’s advanced seminar “Indigenous Women in World Politics,” are collaborating with Mead Art Museum to research the work of Amazonian artists, Naine Terena, Denilson Baniwa, and Kaya Agari. With dedicated funding from Scott Nagle ‘85, the Mead plans to purchase one artwork in the spring.
