Choral Classics by Great Composers - Preview Concert

GCC Community Chorus announces its 2025 spring concert series: "Choral Classics by Great Composers." The chorus will present two programs of music from medieval times to the present, including several pieces in celebration of the 440th birthday of Heinrich Schütz and the 340th birthdays of J. S. Bach and G. F. Handel. The Preview Concert will be given at Greenfield Community College on Friday, March 7, 12:15-12:45 p.m. in Stinchfield Lecture Hall, Room N335. The Full Performance is scheduled for Saturday, April 5, 7:30-8:30 p.m. at the Episcopal Church of Saints James and Andrew, 8 Church St. Greenfield. With Margery Heins. Director, John Yannis, Accompanist, and soloists from the chorus. Both concerts are free with voluntary donations to defray concert expenses.
