Black Art Matters Exhibition Opening and Reception

6th Annual Black Art Matters FestivalThe Black Art Matters Festival is a student-led art celebration that highlights the work and artistic achievement of Amherst's Black students. The exhibition of student artwork will be on view at the Mead Art Museum March 7–June 25, 2023. The Black Art Matters Festival, including the visual art showcase, was created by Zoe Akoto ’21, and is made possible today thanks to on-campus partnerships with the African & Caribbean Student Union, Black Student Union, Multicultural Resource Center, and the Mead Art Museum.
