Billy Martin’s Rhythmic Harmony Masterclass & Workshop (1-3 Saturday afternoon) Billy Martin (of Medeski, Martin & Wood fame) is the special guest opening the show for Combo Chimbita on Saturday evening, April 8th, performing a solo set utilizing percussion instruments, found objects, voice, flutes, bird calls, and more. He offers this exciting masterclass Saturday afternoon, a separate, ticketed event. This 2-hour workshop will utilize Rhythmic Harmony, a new method developed by Billy Martin to engage people of all backgrounds who want to get in touch with creativity and performance art. For ages 13 and up. Participants can bring their own instruments, work with their voice or use body movement. Some hand percussion will be provided by Billy.
