Tickets are on sale now! Over two decades have passed since Animal Collective began to reimagine, then define, the sound and image of indie rock. Creating a twisted musical world all their own where cascading drums, blissful electronic hooks, and dazzling harmonies abounded, their paradigm-breaking sound soon became paradigm building. Yet, the quartet never sat still, even on the cornerstones they helped create, and it's this singular sense of exploratory wonder that has come to define their greatness. Touring in support of Time Skiffs , the mythic crew's first studio album in more than half a decade, Animal Collective stops in North Adams this March for an epic evening. Twenty years on and still in search of what's next. Animal Collective is partnering with Plus1 to donate $1 of every ticket sold to benefit Serve Your City DC & the National Harm Reduction Coalition. "One of the most consistently brilliant bands in indie music." - PASTE Warming things up, Brooklyn-based songwriter and producer L'Rain returns to MASS MoCA after a July 2021 performance. Bringing a similar ethos of genuine experimentation to her richly layered compositions, L'Rain weaves guitar, synthesizers, and delay effects into a swirl of free jazz and heartfelt, personal songs.
