Amherst Plein Air Society !0 year Anniversary Exhibit

Over 30 APAS artists will exhibit 100 or so paintings that have been painted in the past couple years, many in local places familiar to visitors. *Plein air* paintings are the result of the artists’ direct engagement with the natural world. While many of the paintings in the show are painted completely *en plein air*, others were started in the field and completed in the studio, and paintings created in the studio inspired by their sketches, studies, and photographs of nature. 

All paintings are for sale; artist contact information is provided in the gallery hand-out. 

**Events**

We cordially invite the community to attend our **Public Reception on Saturday June 7, 2025 from 3-5PM** to meet the artists, view over 100 paintings, and enjoy some summer refreshments.

We will also host an **informal reception** during the **NorthamptonArtsWalk on Friday June 13, 2025.** Hours TBD.
