"All Decked Out" Skateboard Exhibition

Art for the Soul Gallery in Springfield will showcase an exhibition of skateboard decks designed

and executed by local and national artists. The gallery is proud to be putting on this exhibit in

order to raise funds for mental health by honoring National Mental Health Month.

The skateboard exhibition is a Gateway city project (Gio’s Ollie Session) that celebrates

skateboard culture with a series of events that aim to dispel the stigma surrounding

skateboarding, to advance inclusivity, and to promote safety.

Both new and veteran gallery artists have been chosen to transform and convert a skate deck to be

put on display. All of the completed decks will be featured during the show in June of 2023. The

artwork will be property of the gallery and will be sold during the opening celebration on June 25th

from 4 - 7PM and throughout the duration of the show for the price of $300 per board.
