Friday, December 2, 2022 American International College Theater Arts Presents August Wilson's Fences The theater arts program at AIC is excited to present its first major production since March 2020, with August Wilson's Pulitzer Prize winning production of Fences, about the lives of African Americans in this country in the 1950s. The themes include race relations in a pre-civil-rights movement, pre-Vietnam-war-era mentality. AIC's Theater Arts program is proud to be able to produce this level of work with culturally and racially diverse actors. Fences is free and open to the public. Donations are welcome and appreciated. Location: Esther B. Griswold Theater, Karen Sprague Cultural Arts Center on the AIC campus at 1000 State Street in Springfield Time: 7:30 PM
