It's summer and nature is in bloom! Environmental art (also called Earth art or land art) takes advantage of the potential for art and creativity in nature, making use of materials like leaves, soil, rocks, flowers, water, and branches. Because of the use of natural materials and outdoor spaces, environmental art is often temporary, transforming as time and weather act on it. They joy of making environmental art is in experimentation and explorations, stretching your imagination and bonding with new friends as you work together to make something creative. Let's get our hands dirty and make some art! We will have an afternoon snack/movement break.
