Jaye Alison Moscariello's Abstract Memories are a testament to the emotional connections we form with objects, time, memory, and experience. Born in Connecticut, Moscariello's life journey has taken her from New York City to Los Angeles, to Northern California, and eventually back to the east coast. Her experiences, including the loss of a family member and the impact of wildfires, have deeply influenced her art. A curated selection of abstract pieces from her series "Abstract Memories - Envisioning Emotional Connections Between Objects, Time, Memory and Experience" reflects her journey and her reunion with objects and memories from her past. Moscariello's work is part of the National Archives and Permanent Collection of the Library of Congress, and two of her paintings are now part of the Mark Rothko Museum's permanent collection. She is delighted to share her work with the Monterey and Berkshires community, where she has found a new sense of place and inspiration. An artist reception is on January 31st, from 5:30-7pm. Additional works can be seen on her website: www.jayealison.com
