Since 2006, the Performance Project Annual Benefit Concert has been a cherished event of the Pioneer Valley. The annual event brings together communities from Hampden, Hampshire and Franklin counties to celebrate and empower youth voices and the arts. “This is more than a fundraiser,” says Julie Lichtenberg, co-director of TPP. “It is built on love and movement building and designed to engage, and elevate and inspire everyone!”

This May, the annual benefit concert is returning to the Academy of Music in downtown Northampton with an important and relevant theme. “We recognize the role nurturers play in the health of all our lives,” says producer Yvonne Mendez, “especially during this pandemic, it was our intent to honor and celebrate Mothers and Nurturers of every kind, with this benefit event held on Mothers Day.”
