The 5th Annual Ice Sculpture Invasion will take place during the week of February 19th – 26th (weather permitting). Come check out the walrus, penguins, Eskimos, MGM lion, LARGE Starbucks coffee, and much much more. About 20 sculptures will be sprinkled around downtown for your families enjoyment!
Plan a fun day trip with the whole family during winter vacation and spend an afternoon in Downtown Springfield. Dress warm, wear a mask, and get ready to enjoy downtown!
ICE AT THE QUADRANGLE
*At Quadrangle ONLY – Ice Invasion will begin Monday, February 21st*
ENJOY THE ICE SCULPTURES AT NIGHT AT THE SPRINGFIELD MUSEUMS.
The gate at the Quadrangle will be open until 7pm during the week of February 19th. Parking will be available right at the Springfield Museums parking lot located at 21 Edwards Street. The Quadrangle will be lit up at night to enjoy the ice sculptures.
Get in on the fun and take a few photos for the Ice Invasion Instagram Photo Contest! See an ice sculpture, snap a photo with it, and upload it to Instagram with #BeDowntownSpringfield for a chance to win prizes. The more photos you upload with different sculptures, the more chances you’ll have to win! Profiles must be on public in order to participate. Contest ends on Sunday, February 21st. The more photos you post, the more likely to be a winner.
