40th Anniversary Winter Solstice Storytelling and Songfest Celebration

All are welcomed to the 40th Anniversary Solstice Storytelling Celebration on Dec. 21st at 7PM (doors open at 6:30 PM) at the First Congregational Church on 429 Main St., Ashfield, MA.

Performers include Sonny Crawford, Christy Grecsek, Yosl Kurland & Peggy Davis with Aaron Bousel, Sarah Pirtle, John Porcino, ReBekka Tippens, Tim Van Egmond, Rochelle Wildfong and special Guest Storyteller, Joyce White Deer-Vincent. All donations received at the door will be divided amongst: The Food Bank of Western Mass:, https://www.foodbankwma.org., Partners in Health: https://www.pih.org/; and The Center for Biological Diversity: https://act.biologicaldiversity.org/.

The suggested donation is between $12 and $20 for adults and $5 to $10 for children. Attendees are invited to bring a non-perishable food item that will go to the Franklin County Survival Center.. We also ask folks to bring a treat to share at our a grand buffet during intermission. Pine Hill will be providing ciders and there will be teas.

Snow date is Sunday, December 22nd at 3PM. also at the Congregational Church. Call 413-768-1976 late morning to find out whether there is a weather postponement.
